Ashley D. Wallis is a writer, a student, geek, Army Vet, and mother of two boys. She’s a mental health advocate, proponent for various charitable organizations, blogger, a jack of all trades (moderately adequate at most), and probably the nicest person you’ll ever meet. Projects she works on in whatever spare time she can manage probably equal the number of books she have waiting to be read on her bookshelves, in cabinets, and stacked on nightstands. Recently, Ashley completed her degree in English Language and Literature and is starting her job search.
Ashley has written two novels that are currently undergoing revision and has more in the works. November of 2013, Ashley was honored to have a short story published in the Warriors Arts Alliance anthology Proud to Be: Writing by American Warriors Vol. 2. In 2014, the anthology published a personal essay regarding her experience with the military. With a poetry chapbook, multiple short stories, and works marinating in notebooks, you’ll be seeing more of her in the future.
